ABOUT AEQDB™

Make EQ simple.
Make listening better.

AEQDB™ was built for the moment after you look at a frequency-response graph and ask a practical question: what should I actually change? It brings measured IEM data, a listening reference and a real DAC tuning desk into one place.

YOUR IEM

Start with what you own

Choose the earphone in front of you. A measured response gives us a sensible starting point, so you do not have to guess which slider deserves attention first.

YOUR REFERENCE

Choose a direction

Use a proven reference curve, an AEQDB™ listening profile or another measured earphone. The point is not to chase a score; it is to describe the sound you want to move toward.

YOUR DECISION

Listen before you keep it

AEQDB™ creates a practical ten-band direction for compatible DAC hardware. Preview it with familiar music, make a small adjustment, then save only when it earns a place in your listening.

THE AEQDB™ METHOD

Built for a real DAC.
Not an imaginary perfect curve.

Most EQ tools can draw an ideal curve but leave the hard part to you: translating it into the controls your hardware actually has. AEQDB™ starts with the connected DAC’s ten available bands, fixed Q, gain range, sample-rate profile and supported digital filters. Our matching method turns a response difference into a restrained correction you can preview and save on that DAC.

01 / COMPARE

Find the meaningful difference

We compare the selected response with the chosen reference at a shared point. The result is a listening map: where more weight, less weight or a different balance may make sense.

02 / TRANSLATE

Work within the hardware

AEQDB™ resolves that map through the fixed controls available in the connected DAC. It aims for a useful setting you can actually audition and store, rather than a dramatic screen-perfect trace that the hardware cannot reproduce cleanly.

03 / PROTECT

Leave unstable details alone

Fit, seal and ear anatomy all matter. We treat the upper treble as context and keep automatic correction focused on the response range that is more dependable for a practical first result.

FROM CURVE TO MUSIC

Technology should leave room
for your own ears.

No target curve is a verdict, and no ten-band EQ can rewrite an earphone’s hardware. What it can do is change the balance: tighter bass, clearer vocals, a gentler top end, more weight, or less glare. AEQDB™ makes that change visible before it asks you to trust it.

MEASURED, NOT MYSTICAL

Data gives you a starting point

Measured data helps identify broad tonal differences. It does not replace fit, unit variation or the way your own ears interpret a recording.

CONSTRAINED ON PURPOSE

Less can be more useful

Ten deliberate controls are easier to understand, audition and reverse than an endless list of filters. The goal is a sound you can live with, not a number that wins a graph.

LISTENING HAS THE LAST WORD

Keep what sounds right

Preview settings are temporary until you save them. Try your own music at a familiar volume, compare calmly, and keep the version that makes you want to hear one more track.
